The near-death of his daughter really hit home with Jayne. His mortality weighed heavy on him, and he decided there was only one thing to do about it: become immortal.
WEDNESDAY!
Roll 1.5 - Forever Young: One sim in your household must go on a nightly hunt for one of the Grand Vampires, and get themselves turned into a DENIZEN OF THE NIIIIIGHT..!
He headed out to good ole Crypt'o Night Club to seek out a vampire. He chatted up staff and patrons alike about his all-time favourite subject while he waited.
Appotomattox (charterzard) stopped by.
While he wasn't that keen on discussing Grilled Cheese...
..he did promise to put in a good word for Jayne at work :D

He saw Mrs. Crumplebottom looking as ancient as ever sitting a little ways away. He decided to charm the old girl.
He got an earful for his trouble.
lil_pixiedevil: I know bb, I agree.
Jayne didn't let her vitriol get to him however. He was determined to have a good time while he waited.
Across the room, Blake (greymanticore) was getting his heart broken by Keenan (brilliantcat).
lil_pixiedevil: Awww, cheer up, bb. No man is worth your tears!
Jayne finally gave up on Crypt'o and decided to make a quick stop at Lucky Cards before heading home. Just as he was about to leave, he met the Count! Success!
Back at Maison du Brie, little Alpha was not having the best day. In fact, he was having his last day.
Phil took the loss of his friend hard.
But, as it always does, life carried on.
It wasn't easy gaining the Count's trust and friendship, but Jayne was determined.
He eventually came over, and who knew vampires liked watching football??
And playing with puppies...
And eating pancakes!
Jayne: "So, since you survive on the blood of others does that make you some kind of insect?"
The Count: "..."
Jayne quickly covered his faux pas with some gossip he'd heard about some townie setting fire to a local bar *HEADDESK*

Echo: "Oh, nothing..." *EVIL!CACKLE*
lil_pixiedevil: *gives shifty side-eye*
lil_pixiedevil: Oh thank the gods, a single birth!

Roman (boolpropbea) was THRILLED to finally have a son.
This is when things started going wonky. Harper's gravestone moved itself to the middle of the yard, levitated a while and then disappeared all together. Luckily, it showed up again as an urn in the place where she died the next time I booted up the game 0_o

Lily was NOT pleased to see her little sister getting so much of the limelight.
But I everyone could not help themselves, she was just so damn presh!
It was around then that Echo realized that she could apparate.
Echo decided to invite the headmaster of the most elite private school over to see if he'd allow her three daughters to attend.
Things went badly from the get go.
And quickly went from bad to worse!
But after much schmoozing and touring, he amazingly agreed!
Lily had been asking for another pet for ages, so her parents bought her a beautiful Rainbow Lorekeet she named Jay.
Roman also decided it was time to give a cat another shot; EVERYONE wanted a kitten. He adopted one they named Hailey.
Birthday time!
He's got Roman's eyes AND nose :D
Mitchell has a very angular face, a lot like his sister's did at that age.

The day ended with everyone in ridiculously good spirits.

Jayne continued to be awesome. He slept each day and invited the Count over each night.

It was around this point when I decided that if the girls were going to insist on bringing townies home from school, then they had to give them makeovers before they could go play.

The time finally came for Lily to head off to college.
Roman couldn't believe that his little girl was all grown up.
Jayne was growing increasingly desparate to become a vampire. Why wasn't it working? What was he doing wrong?
Alex: "An A+, I has one."
Jayne: "Again?!"
Jayne: "They're growing up to fast! And I'm nearing closer to death with every day that passes."

Townie #2 makeover!
The week was drawing to a close and it was almost midnight. Jayne and the Count were BFFs for life, but still there was no biting action going on.
So, I cheated.
