We drove up to my cousin's today in Fort Wayne, IN.  We came away with a crib, carseat, swing, bouncy chair, various cups and tupperware, manual breast pump, and baby bathtub.  We took them out for dinner for payment, so it cost us about $25 and the trip up there (3-4 hours round trip from Todd's parents in Indy ( Read more... )

My students had to write down what they already know about all of the planets.  For Uranus, one wrote "I think it's very gassy."  Is that supposed to be a joke?  Quite clever, if it is.  I'm not going to ask.

I just found a JP's punch card on the backseat of my car.  How did it get there?  It's definitely from The Olde Days.  Totally filled with stamps, thanks to a certain smokin hot and incredibly tall barista I know.

Well, I called the police on my neighbors this morning.  It makes me feel like a bad person, but really it should make me realize what bad people they are.  Their dog has been outside on a leash all day yesterday (in the rain in the 40s) and all night last night (I think it got down to freezing) with no shelter.  I'm not sure if there's food.  They ( Read more... )
