I can't remember posting about this before, but if I have, you'll just think I'm extra neurotic.
Am I the only one who thinks you should leave an empty stall between yourself and another public restroom user if possible? It is my preferred mode of doing things, but I am often surprised by people who don't share the same qualms. Am I just weird and neurotic about going in public, or is this a commonly known but unspoken rule? I know guys will wax philosophical about skipping urinals, but I suppose this is somewhat different since there is "wall" of separation.
I went to the movies last night (Monsters v Aliens, very cute), and visited the facilities two times (I'm pregnant, okay?), and BOTH TIMES I was the ONLY PERSON in the place, and BOTH TIMES someone came and used the stall RIGHT NEXT TO ME. While washing my hands, I counted the number of available stalls. There are 8. This has also happened to me at rest stops, where there have got to be at least 12 stalls.
Please tell me if I'm just crazy and no one should have to follow the rules in my head. Or if you feel the same way.
