Whoa - that is a lot of dust! My last entry was over three years ago. Which makes sense, since things got a little hairy then. I suspect my last entry was also the last time I even checked LJ - lots of cleaning up to do.

It seems as if most folks have dropped LJ in favor of FB, but lately I've been craving something a little more substantial.

We've been looking for a dog since February.

We had two not pleasant experiences with the Oregon Humane Society.  Unpleasant to the point of me not ever wanting to look for a dog again.  Then I thought sometime around Megan's birthday would be a good time to start looking for a dog.  I don't know why.  Maybe it was the whole birthday thing because ( Read more... )

Is anyone else watching Warehouse 13?

I'm not loving it, but i have a weird soft spot for the actor who plays Artie, so I'll keep watching it for now.  And I love the idea - although it does feel like an updated version of the Friday the 13th tv show.

When we were at the Decorette Shop today I saw lots of wedding cake toppers.  There were several inter-racial couples to chose from.  I remember when Dennis and I were maybe going to have a wedding that deciding on a cake topper was a weird choice.  We could have special ordered a cake topper, but it was not something widely available back then ( Read more... )

I did a quick internet search for Pow Wows in Oregon and came up with one in Pendleton this weekend and two at Grand Ronde over the summer.

Does anyone know of any Pow Wows that will be held in the Portland area over the next couple of months?
