37 Weeks
37 weeks and, surprise, sick again. Last weekend was norovirus for the FIFTH time, and this weekend it's a godawful cold. I'm so done with illness and pregnancy.
My midwife is INSISTING on counseling and wants two sessions before I give birth, despite my protestations that I doubt I can get in two visits prior to delivery, and the fact that I can't ( Read more... ) -
21 weeks
I felt the baby go head down on Thursday. It actually made me stagger from the thud of it. Later I was feeling for the outline of the baby and I must've startled it because the little legs did a froggy startle response. Lol it made me giggle!
By Friday morning baby seems to have settled in much lower in my uterus. I have a hard time telling but I ( Read more... ) -
20 Weeks
So, yesterday we went to our 20 week ultrasound, and baby was VERY active. We saw all the bits and pieces that indicate we are having a healthy baby, but we did not get a clear look at the gender. The Doctor Just Called
I don't have PCOS! :D Everything looked good with my scans, and he's still waiting for my bloodwork but my cholesterol is a little high. The only thing he suggests is diet and exercise but I knew that was coming. I had done really well, lost 30 lbs, but I've gained it back since I've been unable to go to the gym the last few months. Food For Thought
The 4th graders I worked with in 04-05 are entering 10th grade next year. The 2nd graders I worked with in 05-06 are entering 7th grade next year (I might even run into some of them at my new school!). My peers who had children right out of highschool are the parents of 3rd graders and younger starting next year. O.O
