I received a question about visiting the pandas.

The Panda Base is about 30-40 minutes outside of Chengdu. Wolong on the other hand is between 3-6 hours outside of Chengdu.

If you're going to Wolong, chances are you're going to be going to Chengdu anyway, so in most cases you'd see both. I'd recommend going to the Panda Base first and then ( Read more... )

The Canadian loves pandas. Always has from what I can remember. He showed me this German Shepherd puppy that's apparently a 'Panda Shepherd' and told me that they are apparently very rare as it's a spontaneous mutation that only appeared in one line, so there's some poor male dog out there that keeps getting bred to try to make more panda ( Read more... )
