"Panda" German Shepherd and Poll

The Canadian loves pandas. Always has from what I can remember. He showed me this German Shepherd puppy that's apparently a 'Panda Shepherd' and told me that they are apparently very rare as it's a spontaneous mutation that only appeared in one line, so there's some poor male dog out there that keeps getting bred to try to make more panda shepherds.

Thing is, I've examined the photo and I'm not certain I see the panda resemblance - although the dog is most cute :) You be the judge.
