I received a question about visiting the pandas.

The Panda Base is about 30-40 minutes outside of Chengdu. Wolong on the other hand is between 3-6 hours outside of Chengdu.

If you're going to Wolong, chances are you're going to be going to Chengdu anyway, so in most cases you'd see both. I'd recommend going to the Panda Base first and then ( Read more... )

I swear, I want to go to China just to see the pandas. Your pictures were so amazing, and except for the whole getting to China part, it seems so affordable. ::yearns::

Heh if you come I'd be glad to lend a paw :) I admit travelling in China is very, VERY arduous but it's worth it :)

Alas I didn't know much myself but had someone help out who spoke Sichuan dialect :P There are tours you can take but I assume they're a bit more expensive :P
