Ben had searched every place he’d found her before and kept searching. He’d skipped work and was probably fired for it. He went home hoping she’d come back, but everything was the way he’d left it. Serafine wasn’t okay. She woke up naked in the backseat of a car driving down a street she’d never been on. She was covered by a blanket, but still felt exposed.
