Serafine wasn’t okay. She woke up naked in the backseat of a car driving down a street she’d never been on. She was covered by a blanket, but still felt exposed. There were two men sitting in the front seats who hadn’t paid any attention to her yet. She wasn’t sure what the first plan of action should be. Run, attack, stay?
“Morning.” The driver said. He turned his head and she realized it was the tall blonde man from earlier. His terrible sent filled the car. She crinkled her nose and licked her teeth again. She pushed herself into the passenger side corner of the car to get as far away as she could. She also found herself straightening her back to look taller. The other man didn’t turn around he had his head propped up by his arm in the window. He seemed to be asleep. “I heard you had an interesting night with Jay here.” He slapped the other guy on the chest causing him to jump and whip his head on the first guy.
“God damn Ixter! I was almost asleep!”
Ixter giggled and turned back to look at Serafine. She found herself getting kind of hopeful that he’d get them all into an accident by not paying attention to the road.
“Oh don’t worry. My driving is fine. See? No hands!” Ixter lifted his hands from the wheel and smiled at her. The car didn’t drift at all. He reached into the passenger foot well and grabbed a backpack. “I’m sure you want some clothes right now. We kind of left you back there because we thought dressing you would be creepy. Promise we didn’t peak.” He cupped a hand to his face and fake whispered, “You’re a C-cup aren’t you? Jay guessed B, but I-”
The other guy, Jay, punched Ixter in the face. The car swerved to the left when his fist hit and got back into their lane when Ixter sat back up. He giggled again much to Jay’s annoyance. Jay felt the need to turn back around and finally give this poor confused werewolf girl an explanation.
Serafine just looked at them, not sure what to say or think. Then she realized she didn’t recognize just Ixter’s smell, but Jay’s too. “You’re the dog that saved me!”
She knew at that moment she didn’t want to be there anymore. They must know each other, meaning he didn’t actually save her yesterday. They tricked her! She pulled at the door handle and tried to get out.
“Child locked.” Ixter giggled from the front. “No need to leave yet, we’re not here to hurt you. We’re here to help.”
“How did I end up here? Where’s Ben?!” Serafine turned on them and growled out the question. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end and her face deformed slightly to a small snout. She didn’t even notice since she felt no pain from the shift she just growled with her pointy teeth and demanded answers. “What did you to do Ben?!”
