So this guy comes through the drive-thru tonight and orders some chicken. When asked if he wants some sauce for dipping, he says, "Yes, I'd like as many Ranch sauce as you can give me." Every month we're given a 'labor %' target..the goal being to make more money and use less hours than you would be allowed to use in order to make more money. Which is fine...I understand that and I try to run my shifts so that we come in at or under the number of hours we were allowed to have based on the total dollars we were projected to make. They're redecorating our lobby at work, re-papering the bathrooms and the lobby walls and bringing in new tables and chairs. The good thing is that we get to close lobby early and I can get some stuff done because I don't have to worry about waiting on customers on counter. The bad thing is...the fumes. Every night at work we have to take inventory. On Monday, we have to take a fairly detailed inventory..about 135 items. The other nights, it's just about 13 things.
