Microsoft has decided that my copy of Win 7 Pro is not genuine. I bought it in Feb 2010 from a reputable computer store here in Toronto and installed / activated it at that time. Despite what the Humane Scociety staff claimed my new cat never responded to her registered name 'Tulip' or derivations of the name like 'Toolee', 'Tullee', 'Tilly', etc. Anyway last night I was watching the post game analysis after the baseball game and she was playing with a catnip mouse on the floor in front of me. When Tullee was originally taken to the Humane society it was discovered that she had a fractured pelvis -- it healed well and there should be no future problems, so today I dropped her medical forms that I received from the Humane Society that detailed how the injury was treated off at the vet's office. She's sleeping now, OF COURSE! Last night, however, was an experience to say the least. The folks at the Humane Society told me that she hardly 'talks at all'; well maybe they all go home at night or maybe they are all selectively deaf, but she's definitely vocal and judging by last night she ceratinly had a lot on her mind :lol ( Read more... )

Well some might say that its a fairly quick event after Toby's passing, but I adopted a new cat from the Humane society today. Her name is Tullee (the Humane Society had named her Tulip, but I think that is a stupid name for a cat so I dropped the 'p' and spelt it phonetically because she answers to the name). I had to have Toby (16 yr old) put down today. About a month and a half ago she stopped eating. I did all the logical things -- took her to the vet for a battery of tests -- we tried her on a course of appetite enhancers.We also considered that she might be constipated and took the appropriate steps.
