Micro-screwed in a soft fashion
Microsoft has decided that my copy of Win 7 Pro is not genuine. I bought it in Feb 2010 from a reputable computer store here in Toronto and installed / activated it at that time. Their explanation is that the key code for ths copy is part of a series that has been blocked although they offer no explanation as to why. They also don't explain why it took them 6 months to come to this conclusion. I now have to go back to the supplier and ask them to provide me with a new product key or if that fails, pay Microsoft again!!! If not for the fact that I have some elderly clients that use Win 7, I wouldn't have purchased it at all!! Thank for Linux as I can still carry on my business with only minor interruptions. You can just bet that tomorrow I will get an urgent Win 7 call. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
