Well she has a new name
Despite what the Humane Scociety staff claimed my new cat never responded to her registered name 'Tulip' or derivations of the name like 'Toolee', 'Tullee', 'Tilly', etc. Anyway last night I was watching the post game analysis after the baseball game and she was playing with a catnip mouse on the floor in front of me. The announcers were discussing the inevitable comparison of Alex Rodriguez and Babe Ruth and every time the anoucers said the name Babe, her ears would perk up and she would look quizzically at the TV. Obviously, to me anyway, her name is Babe or something that sounds pretty close to that. Babe it shall be.
