new cat

Well some might say that its a fairly quick event after Toby's passing, but I adopted a new cat from the Humane society today. Her name is Tullee (the Humane Society had named her Tulip, but I think that is a stupid name for a cat so I dropped the 'p' and spelt it phonetically because she answers to the name). She is tan with grey stripes and she is two years old. The reason that I got her so quickly was due to my vet. He has been doing some part time work with the Humane Society here in Toronto to help them get up to speed after their recent re-organization (forced by the OSPCA and the City of Toronto). Tulip had come into the Humane Society injured after having been hit by a car and my vet suggested to me that she and I would be a great fit once she had recovered from the injury to his satisfaction. No pictures as yet since she is currently hiding behind my couch, but I will post some as soon as I am able and she is co-operating.
