Did a lot of thinking tonight on my run, beginning with tonight being the first time in my entire life that I've been able to run a whole mile without stopping. I understand that in the grand scheme of things, in all the realms of human accomplishment, that is nowhere near the top of the pile. Doppelganger
We recently went through a batch of new hires at work and, as I trained one of them, I got the feeling that he could be a pretty cool guy. Fast forwards about three weeks, and he and I have spent a pretty good deal of time talking and just kind of shooting the breeze. Another weird little story. The concept wouldn't leave me alone, has been hounding me forever; the sense that this story gives off demanded I write it out. Maybe it'll stop bugging me now. Input welcome.

Crazy mental image
Usually whenever I get the bug to write, it starts with a phrase; a cool analogy or word play that I hadn't thought of before.

New story
I thinki may use my flight home to write... I have a few solid plot ideas and the turns of phrase I like are coming pretty easily. With luck, I'll have something written when I touch down in Lousiana.
