The excitement of hello turns into the heartache of goodbye.

My Mother was with us for just over two weeks and the visit came and went as expected, she left yesterday. We are deep into August and September is around our corner and the kids are ready and excited for school start. Love that! Madeline has started her cross country practices at school this week and she has liked them. The weather is abnormally cooling down for mid August, if we didn't own a pool I wouldn't mind but because we do, and I got a swim suit, its a bummer! Don't get me wrong today is gorgeous I just don't think it will feel warm enough for me to get in that cold water.

The Disney couple loved the house and they liked it so much, they wanted to come back and look at it a second time that day! We had an offer that night for 165k from them. This is it, today is the last day of 2020 and many are looking forward to 2021. Our Christian atmosphere is sorely lacking in the Truth of Gods word and I know that Trevor's heart is to preach the WORD not topical watered down crap. I am looking forward to seeing how his passion can help lead others especially as we keep getting scarier as a nation and human race. I pray for churches to wake up.

For Easter yesterday we got to do a Drive-in Church at Trinity. The staff bought an FM Radio transmitter so that they could broadcast into our cars. We couldn't open our windows or get out because of COVID-19 but it felt exciting and wonderful to be at church with the people of our church. Today would have been the day that we would be driving to Edgewater to pick up my Mom from Aunt Liz's. Unfortunately she had to cancel her trip to Florida because of the virus.
