As summer slowly fades
We are deep into August and September is around our corner and the kids are ready and excited for school start. Love that! Madeline has started her cross country practices at school this week and she has liked them. I am hoping her knee doesn't give her too much trouble but she has a good knee brace to use and new running sneakers. The Sound of Music rehearsals are almost over, tonight is their last full dress rehearsal and tomorrow 7 pm is Opening Night! I will be attending that and next weekend, Trevor, his Dad and Gray will go. Maddie has gotten several ear piercings this summer, her cartilage on one and then 2 more holes on each ear lobe. 7 ear piercings now, I am waiting for the "so when can I get a tattoo?" She starts 7th grade on September 3rd.
Gray Bay has been insane with boredom lately, he doesn't want to ride his new bike that much and he hasn't been wanting to stay at the pool for long periods of time. He will like getting back into being at school in the beginning I think. I am hoping he doesn't let the third grade work discourage him too much. He likes the social aspect of schooling, the schooling part not so much. I have to be a much better school parent this year. I can't keep everything straight and there is so much going on in my head that I am forgetful. Intentional parenting is NOT my strong suit.
Wesley is 21 months and barely talking but he enjoys screaming and giggling. He has a few words but not many. He loves to dance to music with funky beats and sitting with Trevor at his keyboard. He loves to sit with you and look at books or watch Ms. Rachel, Yo Gabba Gabba and Teletubbies. His running is adorable and he is starting to hug which has been amazing. We all adore him, MJ and Gray just love him.
The pups are doing well and are still so stinkin cute. They have been doing well not being crated. When we aren't home they can have run of the downstairs as long as I have picked up prior to leaving but they can't be upstairs.
Trevor has lost over 30 pounds now from his Zepbound shot and its just awesome! He is feeling better and thinning out in all these areas, its crazy.
I am fine. Just fine.
