Eating problems
How do you persuade a toddler to 1)eat food, and 2)eat fast? What does one do if punishments (or to look at it in a positive way, imposing sanctions on rewards/treats) don't seem to work (i.e. the child prefers to go without them as long as she doesn't need to eat any more)? Portland
Drove to Portland with my guests from PR. Had a nice time. The Portland Perks package was good - we got free hotel valet parking, free breakfast, and also a coupon book. ^_^ We visited the Japanese and Chinese gardens, among other things. TV
The other day, I finally took the plunge and bought my first LCD TV. ^_^ Due to budgetary constraints I only bought a 32" 720p TV from Costco. Their customer service was reportedly really good - their conceirge service gives free technical support for TVs and extends manufacturer warranty to 2 years. I've been switching between Slacker Radio and Sirius XM Radio Online for music at work and at home. Sometimes I feel like keeping XM Radio because it has new channels I can listen in my car and a channel with songs I generally like to listen to. Last week was a stressful week. Glad it's over. Glad yesterday was a holiday. Still, I want more days to relax. Hope one will turn up soon. -
Great Bday
It's been almost a decade since my family celebrated my birthday with me, which they did today. I'm very happy about that. ^_^ It was really nice that circumstances brought my family and I together again even if for a few days. I wonder when the next time will be. Maybe in the future I'll spend my bdays with my own spouse and children instead. Or ( Read more... ) -

... is here! Everyone arrived last night. I went to pick them up at the airport. It's my younger sis' first time in the U.S. though she wasn't in awe of everything since she's been in Australia before. Lol. Recent updates
Last week was kinda busy, what with two teammates out of office (OOF). One was on vacation and the other was on sick leave. The one on vacation came back Tuesday while the other came back Monday with a sling for his arm. Well, at least everyone's back.
