Finding items

Have you ever experienced the exhausting search for an item in your house/apartment, starting from the most probable locations and going through all the other places that the item may be, then re-searching the original locations in detail to make sure it's not there, and repeat, and still not find it?

I have, and I haven't found it in all the boxes I still have around the apartment. T.T I must be missing something but I'm too tired to search any further. Let's hope it shows up so I don't have to buy another one.
