Last week was a stressful week. Glad it's over. Glad yesterday was a holiday. Still, I want more days to relax. Hope one will turn up soon.

Just signed up for Tai Chi classes yesterday and paid the tuition. Hope to learn enough in 4 months to be able to start getting regular exercise. Bought a new pair of shoes today for the class (as it's on wooden floors in a martial arts school and needs clean shoes) and my first pair of training pants ( Read more... )

It's confirmed. I have a fever. :( On Monday or so the early warning was a slight feeling of chillyness in my usually okay apartment temperature. Everything was ok then I started getting a sore throat on Wednesday. I'm definitely getting fatter with all the delicious food I'm enjoying back home since a few days ago. Delicious but unhealthy. ^^;; I'll regain all the weight I've lost through my diet, plus more. Time to hit the gym after I get back.

I need to lose weight. I got a brochure about dieticians at the gym on Sunday, but the consultation fees are expensive. I shudder to think how much their weight loss (20-20) program is. >.< I think it's cheaper to find information online and maybe get a personal trainer to tell me the routines I should do at the gym. I'm aware that chicken soup is good for when one is sick, so while I was still sick last weekend (but getting better), I bought some ingredients and made some quick chicken soup. I've been sick for a week now. I rarely get sick so I actually had to get medicine. The cold part of it was normal, but I've been coughing for almost a week. The medicine label says to stop using and see a doctor if cough persists for more than 7 days. It's so hard to buy medicine these days, given the number of brands and choices per brand. I was trying to find the most suitable medicine for my cold. There's so many brand names for cold medicine including the pharmacy's own brand. For some brands there are so many variations: mild, regular, extra strength.
