Got some tips on how to remove adhesive from hard drive fittings from my local LUG, enabling the swap-in of starfish's 30GB drive (I will never take that much space for granted again) for the Thinkpad's original 12GB drive. ...Well almost. What we had dreaded came to pass--summer flea infestation. This makes it the third year in a row, though I hear that many places are having unexpected and unprecedented outbreaks this year due to inclement weather conditions--droughts, rains, floods. So, the office desktop is booting again, and I'm remembering how facile and convenient all the configuration and management is. Where do you draw the line at using last names in a familiar, informal setting?
