I went to the Workman's Comp doctor today.  He is setting me up for physical therapy three times a week.  He said I should not go back to work yet and that it takes 8 to 12 weeks for a compression fracture to heal.

I was in an accident this morning and my car is totalled.  Oncoming traffic in MY lane, forced me into a ravine, through a couple of culverts, across the road and on the opposite side of the road.  The car landed HARD in the ravine and my back immediately went into throngs of pain.  I thought the car was never going to stop and what kept it from ( Read more... )

I'm all moved into my new apartment but not unpacked!  We worked all day yesterday and completely cleaned the empty apartment when I got moved out.  I'm glad that I cleaned it yesterday because I was wiped OUT today.  I would not have wanted to go back and do the cleaning today.

It's not that I want my job to be my entire life but, it pretty much is.  I've been working overtime every week and I'm exhausted and burnt out.  When I get home, I don't want to do anything.  In other words, the job is sucking the life out of me.

I've worked 12 hour days everyday this week.  I'm so tired!  I still have a lot of pics I've been wanting to post for months now, but just haven't had the motivation when I had the time and now I don't even have the time!

This little "gas station/restaurant" serves BBQ.  Yes, that little screened-in red house with the chimney pipe sticking out of the top is where the meat is cooked.  I passed this way, on Hwy 69, south of Rusk, TX on my way to see a client in Cherokee County.

I've been back at my "old job" for one month now.   That makes my old job the new job.  The job I left in order to return to the old job, I'd been with for six months.  I hated it; hated it with a capital "H."

This is the way my work day looks when I'm not in the office.  I travel a seven county area, going out to see clients in their homes.  East Texas is very wooded and not the typical terrain that one envisions when you think of "Texas."
