So I just got back from seeing Arthur Christmas!

I'm so bad about updating my journal these days, so bad! In my defense, things have been kind of busy with Old English translating...and translating...more translating... We just totally finished with the Life of Saint Edmund, and now we've started Bede's Account of Cædmon, which is multiple times harder than Edmund! What the fuck, the syntax is ( Read more... ) -
How is this semester so busy already?

School starts in less than a week! I am totally cool with this. Really, I'm excited for school. I just love the whole environment. And I've got all my books, so we're pretty much good to roll there! The books for the boring required Intro to Graduate Studies look as boring as I expected, but the Hundred Years War books...I might have a hard time ( Read more... ) -
Life Update!
I don't think I've talked much about Tyler (my little brother) this summer around here, so here's some background. He starts med school this fall. Another school was offering a chance for med students to go on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic, and he signed up for that. Well, he just came back tonight!
