When I first saw Pulp Fiction at that run down theater on Airline Highway in Metairie, La I was blown away. I thought I had been to a religious awakening in films. 82nd Ave. At Powell is just great. In ten minutes of walking I had one druged out pan handler, a guy who wanted for some reason to borrow my phone, and one surprisingly attractive prostitute offer me sex. What a lovely neiborhood.

Note to self: Don't go to 82nd after dark if you can avoid it.

It was a fun weekend. Jana, Wendy, Sam the Pug and I drove to Jana's hometown of Coos Bay, Oregon. The small city is located almost in the middle of the state on the Oregon coast.
