I got into one of my grad school choices! I'm not a failure! It's not my first choice, but it's a good school that I can be proud of and with this first acceptance letter, I feel much less nervous about the other schools. I got an offer to do a summer fellowship in my hometown that is part of a youth registration/get out the vote initiative! It's non-paying and I'd be living at home, but the woman hiring was extremely confident that it could turn into a full time job at any of their offices all over the country. OMG, I was first choice!
