I haven't posted in a while, so here's a life update:

This is my last semester as an undergraduate student.  I'm putting a career resume and an academic resume together because I plan to go to graduate school to pursue an MFA in creative writing, but I've missed all the deadlines for the fall semester, so I'll have to take a year off and apply to ( Read more... )

So I'm probably going to stay at my internship another semester.  YAY!

I have a project due right when I come back from Fall/Thanksgiving Break.  BOO!

1.  I wrote this article about the unveiling of a new (the first?) Albert Pujols statue, and the Pujols Family Foundation re-Tweeted it, and it got lots of hits, apparently.  Productivity!!!  *does happy dance*

Internship is going good.  The magazine's "Morale Corral" took us to a nearby winery today.  I'd never been to a winery before, but it was fun.  Nobody got too drunk, though the bus ride home seemed a bit louder.  Honestly, I really like the magazine's staff---they're good at what they do and they enjoy each other's company, as far as I can see.  I ( Read more... )

1. I start my internship on Monday.

2. The St. Louis Children's Choir called me to talk about being an ensemble assistant.  I have to get back to them on Monday.

3. Now I have an interview with Macy's shoe department.

I don't want to write a review of the new film version of Jane Eyre.  I feel like it's too good for a review.  I'm not sure why.  I guess I just don't want to think about it's flaws.
