My Cardinals lost. On Friday night, I got a gut feeling the Giants would win. I really hate my intuition right now. But I still love my Cardinals. Because that's what you do. My father did tell me, "At least you're not a Cubs fan." I guess he's right. Even so, those three games that we won were one hell of a giant Hope Spot.
The Cardinals lost 5-1 tonight---it is my personal belief that Matt Holliday's attempt to introduce Quidditch-style roughness to the game of baseball knocked us off our game. Therefore, I shall not focus on that and instead focus on my weekend by recounting the best moments:

1. Basic job orientation at Six Flags on Saturday. It was pretty good, and I got to play in the park afterward (I went on the Batman and the Joker, for dichotomy's sake). Everyone had the option of going into the park, but most people left because they were starving since Human Resources provided only soda, Skittles, and Starburst as sustenance
