My Cardinals lost. On Friday night, I got a gut feeling the Giants would win. I really hate my intuition right now. But I still love my Cardinals. Because that's what you do. My father did tell me, "At least you're not a Cubs fan." I guess he's right. Even so, those three games that we won were one hell of a giant Hope Spot.

I attended a three-year-old boy's funeral today. A second cousin's son. I think I met the kid just once, but as soon they wheeled the tiny casket in, I burst into tears. His name was Peter. That just made it sadder, since that's my younger brother's name ( Read more... ) -

Elisabeth Sladen, aka Sarah Jane Smith, has died. She was 63. Apparently, she'd been living with cancer for a few years; she must have been working through it. My God.
You know what is slightly bizarre? Nicholas Courtney, who played Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, died just a few months ago. I think it's weird because they were both on Doctor ( Read more... )
