What happened at work yesterday:

I was supposed to work in the Fudgery, where we sell fudge.  Unfortunately, someone called in, so I had to go work the middle cash register in Looney Tunes Mainstreet.  I really wanted to box up fudge for people because it's fun and smells good, but the middle till in Mainstreet has a Batcave.  I was there for a few ( Read more... )

So I don't have to go in to work today---they called me and told me not to come, probably because it's dangerously hot outside and/or the crowds aren't very large.  It's okay because now I don't have to go in until Thursday, and then my hours become more regular.

I worked my first day as a cashier at Six Flags today!  It was pretty good overall.  I was working while people took their breaks, so I was all over the park, and I was supposed to work the Justice League gift shop, but then they told me to go to "Close-Outs", where everything is on sale...and there's no air-conditioning.  I handled it a lot better ( Read more... )
