Two wonderful things.
1. I went to Six Flags St. Louis yesterday with my family. Some people have Disneyland/Disney World, some people have Busch Gardens, some people have Holiday World, but Six Flags is my personal "Happiest Place on Earth" amusement park. We rode Batman: The Ride three times because my mother went on it for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it. In adddition to a ton of rides, we saw this show in the theater called "Sing Out!" that was a hideously shallow rip-off of Glee (which is saying something), but the singing was pretty good. At the end, I bought a T-shirt with the Flash's insignia on it and I love it, even though I'm not super-familiar with the Flash (their Green Lantern T-shirts weren't to my taste). Also: I didn't get sunburned!
2. TODAY, I GOT AN INTERNSHIP AT A LOCAL MAGAZINE!!!
Yes, I jumped up and down when I got the call. ;)
It pays in college credit, not money, but I don't care. It seems like a really reputable publication and I just can't wait!
