I've been going to the Five Minus toddler group for nine and a half years, since Little One was six months old. Apart from a short break when Little Three was about 18 months and Very Hard Work, and it was just too much like hard work to go and stay for the morning, I've been taking children there once a week in term time for the whole of those ( Read more... )

Today has been Hard Work! Little Three deteriorated rapidly and devastatingly after tea, hit her brother hard, then when I went in to remove her from the scene, hit me, and then attempted to bite me, but thank goodness she just missed my breast and got my T shirt between her teeth! Tim took L2 to Fusion, and then went on to Milldale to drop off a VERY excited L1 for camp. I thought she was going to burst. :-D

L3 and I waved them off and then L3 decided to pretend she was at Cub camp. I shamelessly capitalised on that with all my might; told her it was Cub camp bedtime and that her bedroom was the tent and it was time to go ( Read more... )

I've just painstakingly labelled all of L1's camp crockery and cutlery with the initials F.P. in black nail varnish.

And then realised that the name of the only other girl in cubs, who L1 is sharing at tent with... is Fiona Parker.

What are the chances of them both having the same plates etc? *giggles*

- 5am up and start revision of Death of Pliny the Elder
- Packed lunches
- Wash and dry hair
- Dress L3
