A new Cub!
We now have two Cubs in the family, after Little Two swam up from Beavers and was invested tonight. :-)
He made his promise in a lovely loud clear voice, and yes of course I cried, why do you ask? ;-)
He really enjoyed the barbecue event which the swimming up and promise ceremony was part of, but was a rather sad new Cub on the way home because he is going to miss Beavers very much indeed. He isn't good with change at all, Little Two, and he howled rather loudly all the way home in the car. I know he will love Cubs though once he is used to it.
And apart from anything else, it is going to make part of the week so much simpler now they will both be at Cubs on a Wednesday and L2 won't be at Beavers on a Thursday any more!
Tim is at sofachurch, but I have a lovely video of the proceedings to show him - have I mentioned how much I love my new camera? Videos with sound - it is wonderful!
I also have a LOT of badges to sew on. A job for tomorrow morning, methinks. Certainly not tonight, I'm exhausted!
I came over all dizzy and odd earlier on and wondered if I was coming down with some sort of inner ear infection. I'm still not sure, but I feel better than I did earlier. I think, though, on reflection, making the packed lunches and then going to bed would be a really good plan.
