I've just painstakingly labelled all of L1's camp crockery and cutlery with the initials F.P. in black nail varnish.

And then realised that the name of the only other girl in cubs, who L1 is sharing at tent with... is Fiona Parker.

What are the chances of them both having the same plates etc? *giggles*

camp, l1, cubs

I think Murphy's Law makes it almost certain... *g* Hopefully Fiona's Mummy will have labelled her initials in bright pink nail varnish instead.

If they do and Fiona also has black nail varnish and you really can't tell the difference then I guess they can swap!
The real question is are you going to wear the black nail varnish?

You never know, I might be tempted, if only to give the children a shock! *grin*

Nail varnish is wonderful for identifying camp crockery. We had a yesllow plastic plate and mug around (think I binned them when we moved) that has ugly orange nail varnish blobs on them from my camping days.

Ahh see I had mine marked in marker pen. I had a beige plate and a bright yellow bowl. Not sure why I wasn't colour co-ordinated.
