Ah back from two heavenly weeks in Nova Scotia. Ate much, much seafood, visited my dad and Mom. Crawled on the rocks of Peggy's Cover under the light of the blue moon. Back home from a lovely time in San Jose. Almsot got caught in Chicago by a storm on the way out but was just delayed for two hours. I was so happy to arrive in California and fall into bed. Shared a room with Diana Stein and Shinigami girl, who were both excellent room mates. Up nice and early on Frieday for the marathon that is set up day. ( Read more... )

Wow, the first con of the year is almost upon us. How quickly it sneaks up. My boxes are wending their way to the con. Oh man, I havent' posted in way way too long! Holdiays of course took up most of my time and attention. We had a lovely quiet time at home. Ah errands all run and now we're home relaxing. Cbristmas eve here in our household has food tradtions. Escargo with crisp french bread, caviar and sour cream. Shrimp wih seafood suace and boiled lobster. Picked up the live lobsters that are now hanging out in the garage. At the same place picked up lovely cold smoked salmon for tomorrow ( Read more... )

Back home and my first full day on my regular routine. Such bliss. Had a fabulous time in Chicago but nothing beats my own home, roomates, cats and stuff.
