Oh man, I havent' posted in way way too long! Holdiays of course took up most of my time and attention. We had a lovely quiet time at home. The tree, lots of food, Grant read us A Christmas Carol over five nights(it's become a tradition). The cats loved the wrapping paper and we overate and lolled around the house playing with our gifts and soaking up the nothing. It was bliss. For New Years Marg and I, with a couple friends, headed down to Chicago to hang out with the Cawis. We hit the Art Institute and gorged at the Russian Tea Room. Went for a hike and talked our fool heads off. Out to a fabulous resturatnt , Tall Grass for New Years then on the next day, blasting back home. In between that did art for the FC art show and got my books in order. It's all shipped off and now I've got a week of no stress till I leave for the con next Thursday. Looking forward to seeing new friends and old there. And getting my midwinter break to warm and sunny San Jose (okay, we usally get more rain than sun this time of year). The Pirates are planning a Monday trip to the Monteray Bay Aquraium and I'm very excited to finally get there.
