Christmas prep
Ah errands all run and now we're home relaxing. Cbristmas eve here in our household has food tradtions. Escargo with crisp french bread, caviar and sour cream. Shrimp wih seafood suace and boiled lobster. Picked up the live lobsters that are now hanging out in the garage. At the same place picked up lovely cold smoked salmon for tomorrow mornning. And then around to the market for potatoes, parsnips and wax beans. And last but not least a 29 lb menonnite free range turkey for Christmas dinner. Why yes, I do try to feed my roomies to death at this time of year. The cats are looking forward to wrapping paper day tomorrow. They don't care for gifts but man they love the wrapping paper debris. A light dusting of snow outside but sunny and getting warm. We're going to watch a Norweigen Christmas concert later today. Grinch in all lined up for watching tonight. Marg and grant will dink Nog while I sip tea and the cats will sprawl all over us. Ah every family has their traditions. Hope you and yours are enjoying whatever works for you this holiday season!
