Today started off rather badly. I appear to have a throat infection which is affecting the back of my mouth (around my gums), my throat, and my ears. It is making me feel really feverish. Since my last post I have started to feel somewhat better about the situation with my ears. I went to the doctors yesterday and it turns out that I have an ear and throat infectioin which could explain the noise sensitivity I've been experiencing ( Read more... )

I had a good night last night. Donna and I went to the Weatherspoons Curry Night, which was nice. My ears appear to be getting slightly better. I was able to sleep last night without too much trouble, and my initial state of panic appears to have diminished. Similairly in the pub, I didn't find the loud noise levels to be too unpleasant. It appears that my life is regressing somewhat. I have recently, through my own stupidity, caused a relapse in my Tinnitus and Hyperacusis, which is causing me a great deal of worry, bearing in mind that in extreme cases the conditions can be very dehabilitating.
