Just got back from work........
I've just arrived back from work and am feeling like death warmed up. Donna and I were meant to be going out for a meal and a drink this evening, however we are staying at home because I feel so ill.
Work went reasonably well today, though I felt very miserable. I don't why I feel the way I do, but a lot of the time my job gets me down. I think this is because I see things that I can in real-life terms do, but because of my role within the company, I have very specific responsibilities. One thing which is really getting me down at the moment is the lack of customer contact and the soulless, characterless nature of the job. Although I am able to remote control the PCs involved in most of the calls I deal with, I do miss the customer facing contact which I used to get with my old job.
I also spoke to my manager about the way my older female colleague has been speaking to me, and he said that he had noticed aswell and is going to address this issue with her when she returns from leave in two weeks time.
On a different note, I acquired an M3-Power razor on Sunday, which is basically a regular Mach3 which vibrates at a high frequency to stimulate the hairs it is shaving in order to get them to stand up for a closer, cleaner shave. To be honest I was very sceptical at first, however on shaving with it, I was quite impressed with.
I'm having problems accessing my on-line webspace at the moment, which is really annoying as I really, really wanna be able to upload some pictures. I've posted a thread on OCUK which should hopefully yield some helpful advice.
