I lost my phone last week so it has been rather quiet but also weird. You don't realize how much you text/talk to folks until you can't. Dom and I text through out the day and it was really weird to not have that. I totally missed Instagram. New phone is coming sometime Tuesday ( Read more... ) -
White and teal
Another snow fall today. The sky was a flat white all morning and then around 1:30 the cloud cover starts to move of and this crazy blue appeared on the horizon. Facebook tells me friends saw the same all over the state. Crazy. The snow has already melted off the trees.

Snow Show
Winter Storm Jonas wasn't as bad as promised- and I am totally OK with that. :-) It snowed from late Friday night through Sunday morning. I shoveled the walk to the driveway and the flat roof twice on Saturday.
Otherwise I binge watched "Making a Murderer" and ate cereal.

Sunday
The holidays were good an yet tense. Family is complicated but overall I enjoyed it.
New Year's Eve was spent with Tony and Betsy at Taka's. It was the second year were rung in the New Year with them and it was lovely. A nice dinner and good conversation with good friends. It sets the year off on the right foot. :-)

Today is our anniversary. 3 years though the exact day is a source of disagreement. Dom would say that it was in March. LOL

Halloween prep is underway. This year we're doing "Jurassic Cottage" which is a small outpost in the Jurassic World theme park (or so I'm pretending). Dom is working on ID tags and a patch for my uniform. I'm going to be a Dinosaur Wrangler and he is going to be a dinosaur. I'm building a ride on baby triceratops (fingers crossed).
