(no subject)
I lost my phone last week so it has been rather quiet but also weird. You don't realize how much you text/talk to folks until you can't. Dom and I text through out the day and it was really weird to not have that. I totally missed Instagram. New phone is coming sometime Tuesday.
A lot of stuff has happened since I last posted here and to be honest it almost seems like it wasn't noted because, let's be frank, Facebook more like a postcard than a letter documenting things.
Gypsy Rose Lee passed October 29th. It really messed with me and honestly I wasn't totally OK for a while.
Two weeks ago I adopted Oda May who is almost like Gypsy reincarnated. The second day she was here it was like she always had been. She was hanging on the sofa and letting my pet her belly. Dom was going to adopt her but she kind of took to me more - more on that later. lol
Dom and I are good. :-) We visited out friend Michele at the V Day market at Porta, a local restaurant. I have a cool pop art Chanel #5 painting she did and a popish portrait of Gypsy and Buddy Dom had her paint for my last birthday. She did a new painting of Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in a more realistic style and it is pretty damn awesome.
Later, we went roller skating at the Convention Center today. I haven't roller skated in years! From the looks of things neither had most of the adults there. LOL It was an all Madonna hour of skating. I feel hard but it was totally fun.
I also got to wear the shorts I made from the fabric Walter Van Beirendonck did for Ikea. :-)
OK, I should hit the hay.
