Title: You Remind Me
Pairing: Ryoda, Akame, Tanaka and a few others on the sidelines
Rating: PG 13 ( I guess.)
Genre: Romance ( not to sure as to what genre this fic will be in except for what I've stated)
Summary: Ueda Tatsuya confessed to his crush Nishikido Ryo but it seems that the latter loathes him for a lot of reasons. But nothing more could surpass Ryo's hatred for Tatsuya's face. What is it with Ueda's face that made Nishikido abhor the older one? (Honestly, I'm not really good with summaries but I hope somehow i got my point through.)
A/N: Everyone this is my first time writing a fic, a multi-chapter for that too. After months of just reading fics written by others, I decided to write one for myself. The idea for this fic had been on my mind for quite a long time now after hearing Usher's
You Remind Me . I just love that song! I'm really not so confident with my work but hey...better try than regretting not doing it later! So i hope you'll like this one and comments are so welcomed and loved but please go easy on me. I'm still a child in this field.^_^

CHAPTER 12
Ueda was angry, no, he was so furious he felt his head was about to burst open with all the rage he was experiencing for Nishikido. He already knew that the younger guy was always an ass around him, though it pained him a lot, he already accepted that agonizingly harsh fact. But what that insolent guy did to him awhile ago was more than him being an ass, he was playing dirty and low, unfairly hitting below the belt. He felt so insulted with the way the Osakan flaunted his confession. The confession he did to the latter.
Tatsuya thought he could take every insults thrown at him by that good-for-nothing midget may it be fishlip, fairy boy, girly-looking man, weak , homo or any other hurtful things that the man could think of but the thing that could instantly shatter the impenetrable defense he surrounded his heart was being mocked at that very moment when he showed Nishikido his most vulnerable side, that minute when he bravely confessed to the latter. Tears were starting to gather in his eyes but he immediately wiped it off as he continued walking away, fleeting from the man who constantly broke his heart to pieces unimaginable.
Tatsuya thought that it would feel so relieving if he could just runaway from the pains he was feeling. If only he could escape these heartbreaking emotions he was having. These emotions that usually made him feel all used up and so exhausted every time Nishikido proved his hatred for him. If only Ryo would stop hurting him, insulting him. If only he had kept the feelings he has for the younger one just to himself then his situation could have been different. It could have been a little better, a little bearable than what he has now. If only he was not in love with a man who hates his whole being then he wouldn’t be suffering this kind of pain, this unbearable agony he was making himself endure. If only… But he knew he is. He is in love with Ryo and no matter how hard he tries to wish with all his heart that he is not, love just freely flows from his very being. His heart just overflows with concern, devotion, understanding and warmth for the dark haired Osakan even if he knew that it was plainly stupid of him just doing so.
“Tatsuya.” He heard someone called out his name subsequently feeling that specific someone seized his left arm. He glanced at the person who was grasping his arm tightly as he tried to compose the overwhelming emotions he had in his heart.
“Tat-chan.” The said person called out again this time in a tone so soft and full of concern he almost felt breaking down right then and there.
“Kamenashi.” He said in a low voice almost like a whisper as he gazed at the sad eyes his friend was showing him. He knew too well that the young man was worried about him and telling the other man that he was fine would really not work. Kazuya, his friend, knew him too well that lying about his current state would be totally useless.
The older guy felt another hand on his shoulder as he noticed himself being pulled into a hug by the man before him. The hug was comforting and very warm unlike the feeling of uncertainty and indifference he felt deep within him. He felt the other’s arms tightening around his now shaking figure.
“Kame.” Tatsuya called the younger one’s name again as tears started falling down his cheeks.” Kame, he really went too far this time.” He expressed in between sobs. “He really went too far.” He said again sounding all too lost with what was happening; his words were almost inaudible as his sobs were becoming louder. Instead of comforting the former with words, Kazuya just hugged the weeping man tightly while lightly stroking his back.
“Kame, he paraded my confession to me as if it’s something insignificant.” Ueda exclaimed in a tone so unbelieving and full of hurt as he returned the hug his friend was giving him.”It’s more than insulting me Kame. He mocked me. He mocked this…this feeling that I have for him. He mocked my love for him Kame.” He said in a tone so defeated that Kamenashi couldn’t help but also cry together with him.
Both guys were sobbing and hugging each other tightly to where they were standing totally oblivious of the stares they were receiving from the students passing by. They could care less as to what the other people think of them.
“I think we should stop, Tat-chan.” Kamenashi said, his sobbing now waning as he calmed himself down.”We don’t want to look all too hideous in our future classes don’t we? And you still have jobs to do after school. We also don’t want you scaring probable customers. Your manager might scold you for that.” The younger one adjoined in a lighter, a little joyful, tone as he teased his friend. Tatsuya, upon hearing what Kame said, smiled at the latter as he disentangle himself from the firm hug.
“You and your imminent desire for perfection.” Tatsuya rebutted, a faint smile was seen on his face as he wiped the tears on his cheeks with the back of his hand. Kazuya chuckled when he heard his friend’s statement as he flashed a big smile to his older friend.
“Hey, don’t say that. I’m really concern of your wellbeing.” He whined, eyes gleaming with jest, as he teased the now collected man.
“Thanks Kame. Thanks for comforting me.” Ueda said in a solemn tone, totally avoiding the younger one’s eyes, as he smiled bashfully to the other. A loud whack was heard from them afterwards followed by a piercing shriek breaking the timid atmosphere surrounding the once crying men.
“What did you do that for?” Ueda complained, his expression visibly showing pain, as he tried to soothe his throbbing arm, the arm that his friend mercilessly slapped just a second ago.
“You acting too timid around me give me the creeps. Better wake you up from whatever you are in rather than seeing you act like that.” Kazuya uttered, shivering from the imaginary coldness he was feeling, as he recalled his friend’s bashful behavior towards him. “And that was also my revenge for hitting me on the head last time.” He added, childishly grinning at the hurting man.
Ueda returned the smile Kamenashi was giving him, feeling a little bit better than he was minutes before. Kame’s grin became even wider when he saw the older guy truly smiling for the first time after he was crying himself out. People were now looking at them strangely as they might have thought that the two had finally lost their minds for just a few minutes ago they found these two individuals, two girly looking guys to be more precise, hugging each other as they cried their hearts out and now they were grinning like mad men.
“Kame, I think we need to go.” Tat-chan said, tugging the younger one’s hand while examining their surroundings and finally noticing the peculiar stares directed at them. Kame, who now shifted his attention to where they were, also noticed the odd glances given at them. He returned the eerie stares dealt upon them with his own scowling one and what could be scarier than a scowling Kazuya.
“Kame let’s go.” The copper haired man coerced his companion as he avoided further looking at the people around them. But it seemed like his companion did not hear what he said for the other was just their standing firmly, rooted at his place still glaring back at the people who were eyeing them. The older guy tugged his friend harder as he force the other to start walking away.
“Fine.” Kazuya said in a defeated tone.”No need to keep draggin me away.” He expressed again, a trace of annoyance could be heard from his voice. Ueda halted his pacing as he looked at his companion.
“Thank you Kame.” Tatsuya expressed for the second time around, feeling so blessed and grateful for having a friend like the younger one.
“Enough with the thanking. You really don’t need to reiterate it to me everytime you feel like it.” Kazuya said, now looking self-conscious, as he swayed his hand before him implying that what he did wasn’t something big.
“You really love that stupid Nishikido that much do you?” The younger lad asked direct to the point as he saw how his friend’s face transformed into a serious expression.
“Yes.” Ueda answered instantly without a trace of doubt in his voice while looking directly at the eyes of the one asking him.”And I believe I’m more stupid for continuously loving him amidst all the hurtful things he did and he will be doing to me.” He added, laughing mockingly at his statement while shaking his head in plain compassion for his own unstoppable silliness.
“He’ll mellow down someday. I know he will.” Kamenashi assured his older pal while placing his arm on the latter’s shoulder.”So with that cleared, what’s the real score between you and this Taguchi guy?” He inquired as he noticed Tatsuya’s immediate change of reaction.
“There is nothing between us.” Kazu heard his friend answered, laughing a little as he seemed to find the question amusing.
“Really? Because I kinda agree with what Nishikido said. That guy seemed to be asking directions from you lately. And you surely aren’t the type to be someone else’s map or compass. Just this once I agreed with what that dokkun said. Man, I can’t believe it.” He declared, awed at the thought that he agreed with the Osakan’s idea. He unconsciously scratched his head upon knowing such knowledge.
“Taguchi is a kind guy and somehow I ended up being there whenever he needed help the most i.e. when looking for directions. There really is nothing going on between us.” Ueda expressed, hoping that the other would drop the topic about him and Junno.
“The way you’re saying it, it sounds like he is stalking you.” The turtle said voice full of curiosity as he tilted his eyebrow while glancing at the fidgeting man with him.
“Stalking?” Tatsuya said, sounding all too shock with the idea but somehow cursing his friend’s intelligence and keen observation on things.”Why would the guy stalk me? The last time I heard, he goes for girls not boys.” He articulated, hiding the discomfort he was feeling ever since his friend started asking about the true nature between him and that tall guy.
“Yeah, I know. Nakamaru and I saw him flirting with some of the girls in school.” His younger friend said, agreeing to what he declared.
“Our meetings were just coincidental and nothing more. Don’t let what Nishikido said go into your head. He has a lot of crazy ideas and assumptions and that idea/assumption is one of his few silly ones.” Tatsuya remarked, hoping the fake smile he was giving would look more genuine than how he meant it. He saw Kamenashi nod as he started walking again. The older man heaved out a sigh of relief. His companion seemed to accept his explanation. Although he felt guilty for lying again, he was still at ease. At least, Kame including Nakamaru would start thinking that he and Junno have nothing between them. They still should not know. They could not know.
