Genre:       Romance ( not to sure as to what genre this fic will be in except for what I've stated)

Summary:  Ueda Tatsuya confessed to his crush Nishikido Ryo but it seems that the latter loathes him for a lot of reasons. But nothing more could surpass Ryo's hatred for Tatsuya's face. What is it with Ueda's face that made Nishikido abhor the older one? (Honestly, I'm not really good with summaries but I hope somehow i got my point through.)

A/N:     Everyone this is my first time writing a fic, a multi-chapter for that too. After months of just reading fics written by others, I decided to write one for myself. The idea for this fic had been on my mind for quite a long time now after hearing Usher's You Remind Me . I just love that song! I'm really not so confident with my work but hey...better try than regretting not doing it later! So i hope you'll like this one and comments are so welcomed and loved but please go easy on me. I'm still a child in this field.^_^

CHAPTER  3
Kame and Tatsuya were now inside a diner waiting for Jin to arrive. Jin and Kame invited him for dinner this morning so Tatsuya thought why eat alone when he can enjoy the company of his friends. Tatsuya scanned the place that they were in. The diner was packed with people who were busily eating the foods they ordered or chatting with their companions as they wait for the arrival of their foods. He glanced at the clock hanging on the wall to his right, 6:28. He let out a soft sigh and gazed at his companion who was seating across him.

“Kame, how long will he make us wait? We’ve been waiting for him for almost thirty minutes now. Shouldn’t you be calling him and telling him to come here this instant?” Ueda asked slightly annoyed as he played with the salt shaker before him.

“I’m sorry Tat-chan. He mailed me awhile ago saying that some professor asked him to stay for awhile. Something about a paper he submitted. He didn’t actually say it very clearly but he said he would be here after twenty minutes or more.” Kamenashi said looking so downcast. Realizing that the other should be more worried due to his boyfriend’s long absence, Ueda just transferred his attention back at the salt shaker he was playing with. After fifteen minutes, Jin arrived at their tables, head low and breathing heavily as he sat beside Kazuya.

“Are you alright?” Kamenashi asked worriedly.

“Sorry I was late Kazu. The professor asked me to revise my paper and before I knew it he was giving me a short version of his very boring lecture inside the faculty room.” Jin explained as he placed his right arm over Kazuya’s shoulder.

“I was worried something might have happened to you. You informed me about your hold back twenty five minutes ago.” Jin’s lover expressed as he softly caressed the older man’s face. Jin took a hold of Kazuya’s hand, the hand that was gently touching his face, and he lovingly gazed into the eyes of the latter.

“I’m really sorry to have worried you Kazu.” He uttered in a mild tone. The pair was cut off from their own world when they heard their friend cleared his throat.

“Ok guys, I think that is enough. Can we now order? I’m already famished!” Ueda exclaimed in a frisky tone as a complimenting smile was displayed on his face. For the first time since Akanishi arrived, he saw another person other than his Kazu.

“Tat-chan!”Jin childishly called out his friend’s name as he flashed the other a very big grin.”Sorry about me being late.”Jin added this time the grin was replaced with a pout. This made Kazuya smile cheekily. Looking at the two, Ueda can’t help but just shake his head and grin at their antics.

“Ah…Is everybody here?” Jin asked as he examined the diner, looking for someone.

“Everybody?” Tatsuya inquired confusion written all over his face. He looked at Jin who was still scanning the inside of the diner while Kame was giving him that smile he always gave when he does something he doesn’t like.

“Don’t tell me…” Before Ueda could finish his sentence or was it a question, Kame wasn’t really sure, they heard Jin shout for the second time tonight.

“Ryo!” Jin expressed when he saw his friend’s figure amidst all the people in the diner. Both Kame and Ueda turned their gazes to where Jin was already looking. And just like in a romantic movie, Ryo came out from among the crowd of people showing Jin his big smile.

“Sorry for being late Jin. Got caught up in traffic.” Ryo explained as he came near his friend.

“It’s ok man. Just arrived a couple of minutes ago but I do pity my Kazu for making him wait and worry about me.” Jin voiced out full of guilt as he tightly squeezed his lover’s hand beside him. Ryo shifted his gaze to Kamenashi to also do an apology when he noticed another person sitting across their table. He really doesn’t need to confirm who that person was for just by seeing his hair color and the color of his skin was enough for Nishikido to know who it was. Jin and Kamenashi will really not stop this matchmaking thing that they’re doing to him and Ueda, don’t they? Nishikido said his apology to Kamenashi while he just gave a nod to Tatsuya acknowledging his existence but not really accenting the idea that the person he disliked was really here.

Tatsuya, who saw Nishikido’s indifference, nodded in return to the standing man before them.  As he was examining the said Osakan man, he noticed that Ryo was holding, gripping somebody’s hand. He tried to establish the form of the person in his eyes but he still can’t view who it was among the crowd of people surrounding them. Tatsuya did not have to wait for a long time to see who it was as Nishikido pulled a beautiful girl beside him. Ueda was surprised but he tried to hide that emotion from showing on his face. Tatsuya’s other two friends were also no different. Kame was absolutely shocked while Jin was held speechless as they stare at Ryo, the new girl and Tatsuya.

“This is Leah Dizon, a schoolmate of ours. Leah these are my friends.” Ryo said as he introduced the three sitting men. Leah gave them a very sweet smile, extending her hand as she said her formalities to the three guys.

“So I’m now a friend of yours Ryo.” Ueda thought as he continued to keenly observe the girl Ryo brought with him. Leah is voluptuous, oozing with appeal and sexiness, has soft and smooth white skin and long straight brown hair. Her attire for tonight was eye catching too as her boobs were starting to peek out of her plunging neckline and her very short skirt was exposing skins not appropriate to be exposed. Ueda thought that Ryo surely knows how to select his type of girls.

“Nice to meet you Leah.” Ueda heard Kame say. His friend took the girl’s hand, shaking it while giving her a very big smile. Ueda knew to well that the smile Kame gave was one of his fake smiles.

“This guy beside me is Akanishi Jin and the guy before us is Ueda Tatsuya.” Kamenashi added.”Jin why won’t you let Leah sits here beside me while you sit beside Tat-chan.” Kame suggested as he gave his lover a strong nudge on the side while still having that huge phony smile of his. Jin who was still in a dazed just followed his boyfriends command as he left his lover’s side and deposited himself beside Tatsuya. After finally getting settled, everybody ordered the meals of their liking. The atmosphere around them was so silent and awkward that even the clueless new girl felt the tension. Her bright smile before was now gone as she uncomfortably fidgeted on her seat. The inept air worsened with the way they were seated. Ryo was sitting in between Kamenashi who was in his right and Leah on in his left. Sitting across him was his best friend Jin and on his left was the man he did not like to see. At times, Kame started making supposed to be interesting conversations among them but the talk ended even before it developed into something far more entertaining. Most of the times, the five of them just silently wait for the arrival of their foods as they avoid looking directly into each other’s eyes. Maybe except for Jin and Kame who were now observing Tatsuya with a worried look in their eyes. The tension around them started to lighten when the food finally arrived. The group started munching on their meals while still maintaining the silence around them. A few minutes in between the intake of their foods, Leah excused herself to go to the washroom leaving the four mainly involved characters alone together. And just like a green light signaling the fleeing of cars on the road, unspoken emotions and hidden ideas were voiced out the minute Leah left the table.

“Jin I already told you to stop this matchmaking thing you and Kamenashi are doing.” Ryo declared in a very sour mood as he presented to them his most flagrant watch. “And you,” Ryo added while looking at Tatsuya. “I don’t like you. I will never like you so stop dreaming that I may return your feelings in the near future. Stop leading these two into helping you.” He exclaimed in a tone so sharp and cold that both Jin and Kame winced at the same time.

Tatsuya, the man insulted, looked directly at Ryo’s eyes for the first time tonight. He matched Ryo’s glare with his own deadly scowl.

“Nishikido, I’m not as stupid as you think. I know you don’t like me. I’ve accepted that fact and is now moving on with my life. You should do that to you know. Not dwell on that moment when I confessed to you.”  Ueda retorted back in a monotonous tone as the anger in his eyes before were now replaced by indifference.

“You!” Ryo abruptly said as his rage started to resurface. He was now hovering over the diner’s table with fists clenched so tight the blood seemed to stop flowing in them.

“Ryo.” Kame called out their friend’s name while tightly holding onto the outraged man’s arm.

“Calm down Ryo.” Jin asserted as he stood up while giving his best friend a very serious look. “Tat-chan didn’t ask us to do these things nor did he lead us into deciding on such matters. It was purely my decision.” He bravely declared.

“And mine too.” Kame added in a low tone still tightly gripping Nishikido’s limb. Ryo shoved Kame’s hold away from him as he glowered at the nonchalant guy beside Jin. Afterwards, he seated himself on the chair as he continued to pick on his foods. Jin, upon realizing that Ryo will not be clobbering Tatsuya any minute now, decided to also take his seat.
