Title: You Remind Me
Pairing: Ryoda, Akame, Tanaka and a few others on the sidelines

Genre: Romance ( not to sure as to what genre this fic will be in except for what I've stated)
Summary: Ueda Tatsuya confessed to his crush Nishikido Ryo but it seems that the latter loathes him for a lot of reasons. But nothing more could surpass Ryo's hatred for Tatsuya's face. What is it with Ueda's face that made Nishikido abhor the older one? (Honestly, I'm not really good with summaries but I hope somehow i got my point through.)
A/N: Everyone this is my first time writing a fic, a multi-chapter for that too. After months of just reading fics written by others, I decided to write one for myself. The idea for this fic had been on my mind for quite a long time now after hearing Usher's You Remind Me . I just love that song! I'm really not so confident with my work but hey...better try than regretting not doing it later! So i hope you'll like this one and comments are so welcomed and loved but please go easy on me. I'm still a child in this field.^_^

A loud groaned was heard for the 5th time since a group of men were seen gathering at a vacant table around the corner of the university’s open field. Another groan was heard in the atmosphere this time earning an annoyed look from Akanishi, a killer stare from Nishikido and an exasperated one from Kamenashi.
“Will you stop that Koki!” Jin commanded to the very depressed man as the latter’s head was helplessly sprawled on the table, hands over it. Koki just answered Akanishi’s bidding with another groan earning him a hard smack on the head by the now fuming man.
“I said stop groaning! For crying out loud, you look like you’ve been deprived of some necessity in which you’ll die if you won’t have it! Kazu is studying here and you’re very much disturbing him.” Jin berated the sad looking man as he tilted his head a little to look at his nagging friend.
“But I really am deprived of something and I’ll die if I’m not going to have it!” He expressed helplessly, eyes so lost in pure despair.
“Koki, will you please tone your groaning down. People are starting to stare at us. I don’t want them to get the impression that we’re torturing you or something like that.” Kazuya requested in a calm voice as he concernedly gazed at the other.
“I miss Yuu!” Koki shouted almost at the top of his lungs.”It’s been ages since I last saw him!” The gangster looking man kept on whining. Kamenashi heaved out a sigh as he shook his head in surrender. The youngest of the group just stared at the latter, his face full of sympathy.
“It’s only been 3 days since you last saw Nakamaru. Don’t make it sound like you haven’t seen him for a year!” Nishikido protested a scowl was displayed on his face.
“A day without Yuichi is like a century for me! I would rather not eat and drink for a week or more and I would still be alright, alive and kicking to make it more precise. But without Yuu, life’s just too sad and depressing! I want my sunshine back!” Koki whined again like how a child would.
Nishikido just groaned upon hearing their tough looking friend say something so cheesy. He also glared at his baka best friend who was now comforting Tanaka by patting his shoulder. Ryo wondered where Jin’s irritation awhile ago went.
“I can understand how you feel Koki. An hour without my turtle here is like an endless torture for me.” Ryo heard Jin said also in a dejected tone. The Osakan massaged his temples as he felt his head throbbing. He was about to berate the two when someone got to them first.
“Jin no need to act so weak and feeble. Kame will not go anywhere that is if you won’t stop doing those stupid things that you usually do.” A voice full of teasing commented making all four of them turn to the direction of the said voice.
“Tat-chan, don’t even say such things.” Jin bleated with his kicked puppy eyes when he saw who the person was. Tatsuya just flashed the other man his very bright smile as he focused his sight to the now silent Tanaka.
“Your sunshine asked me to give you these.” Ueda said, emphasizing the name Koki gave for Nakamaru as he handed the latter a bento. Tanaka’s dismal expression immediately changed into a very blinding smile as he grabbed the thing Tatsuya extended onto his direction.
“Yuu is really great!” The now very ecstatic Koki expressed as he pressed the bento on his face and started rubbing it as if the thing was some soft plushie.”He even made me a very special bento! He’s such a cute, sweet loving wife.” The said man declared; a grin so big and wide adorning his face.
“Kazu, I want one too.” Jin pleaded with his puppy eyes as he glanced at his lover beside him.
“Jin…”Kame said in a subdued manner, closing the book that he was reading before the ruckus heightened or what he assumed to be the start of a whining event by his lover, as he glanced at the latter’s eyes directly.” I’ll make you one if I have time, ok.” The younger one said as he cajoled his lover.
“But I want one now or if not now at least tomorrow.” Jin demanded, pout visible on his face as he placed both his hands on the table looking like a five year old child having its tantrum.
“Jin, you very well know that today is exam week. I still need to finish a lot of papers and I still have to review my lessons. I don’t think I have that much leisure time in my hand.” Akanishi’s younger lover stated. Jin’s pout grew even worse when he heard his Kazu’s answer. He kept on tugging the latter’s sleeve as his kicked puppy eyes developed into a more moving, pitiable one. Kamenashi, seeing the childishness of his boyfriend, heaved out a sigh and was about to appease the other’s sour mood when he heard a faint chuckle by his side. He glanced at the direction where the said laugh came from and he saw their friend, Tatsuya, smiling as he tried to suppress another laughter.
“You two just look so happy with each other and Koki looks so content with just a bento from Yuu. Seeing all of you just make me smile.” Ueda resolved as his smile grew even wider.
“If that is the case why don’t you find one for yourself Tat-chan.” Koki exclaimed merrily, unconscious of the weight his idea was suggesting. Upon hearing what their gangster looking friend said, Kazuya stiffened, Akanishi stopped his whining as he immediately glanced at the man who was still hogging a bento and Nishikido had a very scary smirk on his face. When Koki realized the things he said, he mentally kicked himself as a long list of curses were uttered in his head and all of it were directed at him and his lethargic mouth.
“Tatsuya, I didn’t mean anything bad about what I said.” Tanaka said, his voice wavering a little, settling his most treasured bento on the table as he glanced at the older guy hoping that he didn’t offend him.
“Oh, you don’t need to worry about him. He already has one.” Nishikido straightway declared making all the people surrounding him glance at his direction with curious looks on their features. Instantly, three voices were heard in unison, each one usurping the other asking mostly the same question.
“He has?” Koki inquired astonishingly, eyes so round as he glanced at Nishikido.
“You have?” Jin questioned with a puzzled look on his face as he glanced at the very shocked Ueda to his insolent looking best friend.
“You do?” Kame uttered in a very firm voice as he looked at the talked about person with such intensity.
There was an unnerving silence as everybody awaited the answer of a certain copper colored hair guy. Mystified glances were now directed at Ueda as he dumbfoundedly looked at Koki, Akanishi and Kazuya and was glaring at a certain person.
“I don’t!” Ueda strongly denied, his eyebrows contorted, cheeks a little puffed as his face was turning into a shade of red.
“Come on Hime. No need to deny it. I did see you and that Taguchi guy together a couple of nights before. And he did say he likes talking to you and you seem to feel the same way too. You two will make a great couple!” Nishikido declared; a hint of mockery in his tone.
“Stop sprouting nonsense! The guy was just asking for directions. Aside from being a pain in the ass, you’re also one malicious dimwit!” Ueda barked anger very transparent on his fuming face.
“Yeah right! And that guy just loves asking questions related to directions. He did ask you if you saw his friend passed by when Kamenashi saw you two together and a few nights ago I saw him asking you about directions again, what are you some map or compass?” Ryo said with a snort as his face was full of disgust.
“It’s not your concern if he likes to ask directions from me. It’s better being his map or compass rather than being an object of your crazy mood swings and poison tongue!” The older guy retorted back, eyes glaring at the smaller man sitting before him.
“Ohh…but you love my mood swings and poison tongue Hime.” Ryo answered back teasingly. “After all, YOU were the one who confessed to me.” The Osakan adjoined still gleaming with that unsettling looking smile. Nishikido saw Ueda, face red and a glare that could kill, clenched his fists as he tried to take control of his anger.
“I did confess to you.” Ryo heard the older man before him agreeing to what he said. “I did. Did, means it’s in the past not the present so don’t act so high and mighty thinking that I still have feelings for you when in fact I already don’t!” Ueda exclaimed firmly and with much determination that was not usually seen on him.
Nishikido’s reaction to Tatsuya’s statement was so unnerving as his gaze was focused at the latter, direct and so intense, eyes devoid of emotions as he did not even bat an eyelash.
“And I would like to add one more thing in that idiotic mind of yours, will you stop calling me Hime! I’m not your Hime and we surely don’t have anything special between us. Pet names are only applicable for lovers such as what these three have.” Ueda remarked as he pointed his finger at their very silent friends who were observing their every actions keenly. “Now that I’ve done what I’m supposed to do, say everything that needs to be said and have cleared any misconceptions, I better go and do something useful rather than talking, no erase that, rather than having a nonsensical argument with a person who only holds himself the only one right in everything.” With that said, Tatsuya stormed out of the place, bells seemed to be ringing in his ears as he tried to collect his temper.
After Ueda left the table looking too angry and insulted, Kamenashi immediately sat up from his chair as he looked at the person sitting beside him. “I better follow him.” The worried Kazu expressed in a voice full of concern as he tapped his lover’s hand. Jin, who was looking at the fleeting figure of Ueda just now, shifted his sight to his turtle as he gave out a curt nod denoting his agreement to what the latter said.
“Ano…” Akanishi and Nishikido heard they’re friend Koki spoke, voice stuttering a little, as he tried to cut between the tension-filled atmosphere enveloping them. “Who is Taguchi Junnosuke?” He nervously asked all too innocent with what was going on around him. Akanishi gave his now squirming friend Tanaka a look between unbelievable and unsure. And their rough looking friend just mouthed a childlike “What?” to the other as he wanted all the questions he has in his mind to be answered.
