How about a whole lot of games?

Yep, gaming convention time. Euroquest starts tomorrow at noon, although I probably won't get there until mid-afternoon due to PT. And that's where I'll be, except for sleeping, until Sunday afternoon. So I'm not dead, just gaming.

I don't like long games. 60-90 minutes is about right for me. So today I played two games. They took 7 hours. Both games involved teaching (I had to learn the second one) but I don't think knowing the games was going to shave much time off them, esp the 2nd. Just arrived home after a long day of gaming. Took Mom, who wasn't totally into the games but really enjoyed the other people. I'm hoping the time out of the house and new people will help her. The family is going to Maine for Christmas, so they came down to our place today to have our traditional Christmas Eve...on Dec 18th. It was wacky, as both boys were smart-alecky/cranky and Mom got half her gifts erroneously tagged, and I took over full responsibility for the stockings this year. Between wish lists and lightning deals, my Christmas shopping is just about done. Some stocking stuffers for the little guys (Thursday at Michael's, 30% everything) and some clothes for Mom (Black Friday) and I'm finished.
