Soul Crushing...
I hate my job, but I'm in debt. What do I do? Do I just start looking for a new job while on the clock? I feel like a need time off, but I can't afford to take time off.
What am I suppose to do?

So, I'm in Jacksonville Florida, on the Navy VIP trip. They know about the DUI, but they are hoping that I manage to get it dropped. They must be really strapped for people, given that getting arrested during the application process doesn't deter them.

Surreal
This sucks. The past couple of days have been surreal. I'm not sure if I'm using that word correctly... What I mean is that I've felt somewhat detached from my body. It's hard for me to get out of bed in the morning... And I sit here at work feeling like nothing matters.

Curve balls
Life sometimes takes an unexpected turn. Thursday last week, while driving home from the bar, I hit a road-block. I had had one ti many martwonis, and blew a 0.2. The future
Today, I saw a slide show of the preparation that goes into every shuttle launch. It was ridiculous. They litterally have to go through days of preperation; assembling the thing from dozens of pieces. This got me to thinking...

1) The writer's block topic today asked about Chinese Zodiak signs. I found this to be a strange coincidence, given that I'm new to this whole blog thing, and my alias - "Gävle Goat" is partially based on the fact that I was born in October 1979... The Year of the Goat (or sheep, depending on who you ask).

So... The Navy wants to speed up the process. Now, I'm supposed to "sign on the line that is dotted" (GlenGaryGlenRoss reference) during the VIP trip.
