NVIP
So, I'm in Jacksonville Florida, on the Navy VIP trip. They know about the DUI, but they are hoping that I manage to get it dropped. They must be really strapped for people, given that getting arrested during the application process doesn't deter them.
At any rate, I'm here and I'm pretty excited. True, the DUI might prevent me from joining... But, I'm still in Florida on the Navy's tab... And I get to tour subs and air craft carriers. Plus, I'm excited simply because I'm not vomitting. Maybe I should explain. I've had the stomach flu for the past couple of days. Today is the first day that I haven't thrown up. Thus, I'm pretty happy to be able to keep food down and walk around without feeling dizzy.
On a side note, my girlfriend has been absolutely wonderful lately. She took care of me while I was sick. She'd go to the store and get me ginger ale and soup. She hung out all day yesterday, just to make sure that I got to feeling better. :)
That's all I've got to say. I'm sorry if this entry wasn't as coherent as my others... I'm still running a little bit of a fever. :(
