Do people really spell as poorly as nearly every post I read in Facebook? Or is it an attempt to shorten everything to the fewest letters for textspeak? Or are smartphones not all that smart when users are speaking their messages into the phone ( Read more... ) -
There's probably a name for that
M has not been feeling well lately. M is not one to go to the doctor until "necessary" which is one difference between us. I've been encouraging him to make an appointment, but I've not yet been successful. He almost went this morning, but woke up feeling better so decided not to go.

Having donated to "The Wrecking Crew" movie, I am on their mailing list (if you've not seen that movie, and if you are a fan of music of the 50s-60s-70s, do see the movie). Out and back
M took the day off work today for hot air balloon projects.
First, he took his Commercial Pilot test, and passed with flying colors! This written test and the subsequent test flight will allow him to upgrade his license to Commercial, which basically lets him charge for giving rides, along with other perks and privileges.

I am not embarrassed to state that I often prefer softer, mellower music in general. With today's unlimited music choices, a radio station (including SiriusXM) had better play a song I like or tolerate or PING goes the button. Yesterday was M's 1/6th birthday. He was born on December 25, and there's another celebration on that day that tends to overshadow his birthday and receive somewhat more notice. I know we're supposed to "embrace change" and "change is good" and blah blah blah. But, please. For many of us, unexpected and unwanted change creates a disturbance in The Force. Episode 15 of Discovery, with spoilers
CBS All Access is now streaming all 15 episodes of Star Trek: Discovery. However, I would not recommend binge watching too many at a time. The series descends into some dark plot lines a number of times. Essentially, during the season this is NOT anything like the original Star Trek or many of its sequels.
