Yesterday was M's 1/6th birthday. He was born on December 25, and there's another celebration on that day that tends to overshadow his birthday and receive somewhat more notice. M has shared stories of his family celebrating his birthday as he was growing up, but in months other than December, particularly on June 25th, his "half birthday." So, sporadically and without warning, we sometimes celebrate his birthday in months other than December. And so it was yesterday.
