I had a good weekend.

I ran my modern-day horror game briefly as two of my players were completely spent; one from working for 3 days with almost no sleep and the other from fighting all day at an event.  Wouldn't you know it would be the game I spent 10 hours prepping for?   I got my copy of The Ammonite Violin last night. It is gorgeous, just a lovely, lovely book, and the chapbook is very nicely done too. I immediately read The Sanderlings and the introduction, which seemed a fitting one without any obvious spoilers. so many people there need help desperately.  They have no food, no water, no access to doctors for their many injuries.  It is horrific there and the people are desperate.   Doctors without borders is sending doctors in as quick as they can and Oxfam America is sending all kinds of aid.  If anyone can spare a little, these people need all the help ( Read more... )
